We invite you to explore what makes Town School for Boys unique, starting with our name. We are an elementary and middle school for boys set in an urban environment with a mission to foster in our students a love of learning and of school. We relish the chance to develop programs that are best suited for boys' learning and boy energy. We strive constantly to innovate and improve our educational program in our efforts to graduate young men who are prepared for the 21st century. Our primary goals are captured in our mission: At Town School, learning is prized, love of school is essential, and boyhood is celebrated.
Our fundamental goal is for each boy to be engaged in an environment that weaves together collaboration, critical thinking, integrity, empathy, and creativity. These broad skills, as well as a firm grounding in core academic competencies, offer boys an excellent preparation for their further education. We promote social and emotional learning as a foundation of academic excellence and self-discovery.
