Welcome to 2B!

Having worked on the East Coast for the last 8 years I am very excited to begin my West Coast journey at Town School! My experience has varied from teaching first, second and third grade classrooms to being a Curriculum Director at a K-3 independent school in Manhattan. I have been fortunate enough to receive Masters degrees from NYU and Columbia's Teacher's College. Both schools have helped me learn and grow as an educator.

I strongly believe that children should receive a holistic education and that their social emotional growth is just important as their academic growth. I have spent a lot of time developing a curriculum that balances both areas. I also believe that in this day and age we need to make children citizens of the world. We will spend time learning about the world and  exploring different cultures to become knowledgeable global citizens.

Everyday will be a new learning adventure for the students in 2B. We look forward to learning, laughing and sharing with each other and all of you!
