Admission Officer Information and Registration If you are a boarding school and wish to participate in the Boarding School Fair, this page should have all the information you need to register. Greetings and Welcome Dear Friends and Colleagues: Greetings from the city by the bay, San Francisco, where I am delighted to announce that Town School for Boys will host its Eighteenth Annual Boarding School Fair on Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Brewster Ely, Town's Headmaster, and my colleague Garrett Frank join me in extending an invitation for you to attend this event. Please be prepared to share information about your school with parents and students interested in the boarding school experience. Invitations will be sent to seventh and eighth grade students attending Bay Area independent day schools as well as secondary school counselors, administrators, and educational consultants. The Fair will also be advertised in local newspapers and on the radio. In 1990, we launched this unique West Coast Boarding School Fair and are delighted with its continued success and growth. To help defray costs, we ask that each participating school contribute $300.00. Please make your check payable to Town School for Boys. On the evening prior to the Fair, Saturday, October 18th, there will be a cocktail reception at my home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. In addition to you, our guests will include local educators, consultants, administrators and Admission Directors from San Francisco, Marin, and other area secondary day and junior boarding schools. Please come for an evening of socializing and networking. Kindly respond as soon as possible so that plans can be
formalized. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate
to contact me at dorfler@townschool.com during the summer months, or Garrett Frank at frank@townschool.com. I look forward to your joining
us on the weekend of October 17th. Sincerely, Registration Ms. Shelley Dorfler
