 JUMP INTO THE 80'S
We are throwing a rad 80's prom for the holiday faculty  and staff luncheon on December 18th, and we need your  help! Please volunteer to serve jello shots, start the break  dancing, chaperone, or create photo booth memories.  Contact Jill DeWan at flairshopping@comcast.net if you are  able to volunteer. And, to make those photo booth  memories keep on giving, . . . . there will be an 80's  clothing/prom attire bin in the front hall starting this week.  It's not too late to relive your 80's Prom Night or finally go  to the Prom you weren't invited to! Have a tubular week.

 TOWN SCHOOL GIFT GIVING POLICY:
 Dear Parents,
In response to a multi-year discussion around gift-giving at Town, we are writing this email to  clarify our feelings surrounding this subject. Giving gifts to faculty and staff around the holidays  is a chance to show genuine affection and appreciation for your sons' teachers but is in no way  intended to put pressure on families. Any gift should come from the heart as opposed to the  wallet. Teachers do enjoy being remembered, and notes of appreciation are as welcome as any  purchased or homemade item. The teachers greatly enjoy the Holiday Lunch put on by the  Parents' Association. You can make a donation to that luncheon in lieu of or in addition to gifts to  teachers if you wish. Families should do whatever feels comfortable and appropriate for them.  We hope this helps to clarify any questions you might have around this topic.
  Sincerely,
 Brewster Ely, Headmaster, and
 Ann Dale, President, Parents' Association

HELP THE TOWN SCHOOL CLOTHES CLOSET WITH YOUR  DONATIONS!

The most profitable items sold at the Clothes Closet are furniture, artwork, and high-end  accessories. If you or a friend are cleaning house, redecorating or moving, please call our store  manager, Elena Siu, at (415) 929-8019. Pick-up service can be arranged for large pieces; smaller  items can be dropped off at the store at 1850 Polk Street. The sale of these valuable donations  supports our school's Faculty Enrichment and Tuition Assistance programs. Thank you!! Contact  Andie Cultrera or Cami Lenett with questions.

CAN'T QUITE BRING YOURSELF TO SPORT THE REINDEER  SWEATER AUNT MILLIE SENT  LAST YEAR??

Although  all types of donations are appreciated, the Clothes Closet is especially interested in holiday  attire, accessories, housewares, greeting cards, and decorations.
