Parents' Association


The Town School Parents’ Association plays an integral role in the school community. The goals of the Parents' Association are to foster a sense of community among parents, to provide a link between parents and the school administration and to give financial assistance to the school.

The Parents' Association welcomes parents to volunteer in a wide variety of ways, including:

  • Helping with the lunch program or in the library
  • Providing refreshments for special school events such as Parent Night, Faculty Appreciation Lunch, and Grandparents’ Day
  • Helping with the Festival of the Arts, and assisting with student and family community service projects.

In addition, parent volunteers are needed to organize and staff our fundraising programs and events, such as the Golf and Tennis Tournament and the Clothes Closet, which help raise significant funds for tuition assistance and faculty enrichment programs at Town School.

Parents are invited to attend monthly meetings of the Parents’ Association. These meetings include updated reports from the Headmaster and the Directors of the Lower and Upper Schools, information and announcements regarding school events and activities, and guest speakers discussing topics relating to school, children, and parenting issues.
