Emma Elizalde holds a BA in Psychology and Education from Mount Holyoke College and a MA in Education from The Harvard Graduate School of Education, as well as a Certificate in Educational Therapy from Holy Names University. She is also a Certified Slingerland® Teacher and the Past President of The Northern California Branch of the International Dyslexia Association.

Which of the Town School values (respect, curiosity, belonging, integrity and joy) do you most identify with, and why?

The Town School value I most identify with is curiosity. I identify with curiosity because I am always wondering and discovering new reasons why words work the way they do.

What are your hobbies outside of school?

Cooking.
