Which of the Town School values (respect, curiosity, belonging, integrity and joy) do you most identify with, and why?
I find myself returning to the idea of #belonging. When our hearts and feelings aren't safely supported by others, then it is hard to see our own gifts accurately. Belonging creates a reflection of our own goodness. Making sure that all members of our community belong expands our individual hearts and forces us to practice compassion. We can become both a tighter and broader community all at the same time.
What are your hobbies outside of school?
I read like crazy - probably 400-500 pages a week. I really love Cinderella and collect glass slippers. I miss the Italian delis of the northeast. I love meditating with my dog, River Rainbow, right at my feet. I volunteer for multiple organizations, but taking care of people and families touched by substance use disorder is closest to my heart.
