Talib Mandan holds a B.Soc.Sci in Sociology and Philosophy, and an MA in Educational Leadership and School Improvement both from the University of Manchester, UK. Additionally, he has a postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Cambridge, UK, along with a National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and a National Professional Qualification in Headship (NPQH) both from the Institute of Education, London, UK. Talib is also a Council of International Schools (CIS) Accredited School Evaluator. 

Which of the Town School values (respect, curiosity, belonging, integrity and joy) do you most identify with, and why?

Integrity has always mattered to me greatly based on my upbringing and life experiences. I feel having integrity as a core principle acts as a moral compass for your core beliefs and actions. It is also fundamentally important in creating strong and meaningful relationships based on trust, respect and honesty.

What are your hobbies outside of school?

I am a massive soccer fan! I enjoy being an active supporter of the Manchester United and the England football teams. I also enjoy running, dining out, travelling and spending quality time with my cat Fitz and partner.
