Announcing the Larsen-Lam Family Gift

Dear Town School Community,

I am honored and thrilled to write you with the extraordinary news that Town School for Boys has received the single largest gift to the school in its 80-year history. Chris Larsen and Lyna Lam, parents of two Town students, have donated $10 million to Town School as a foundational gift in support of our Strategic Plan.
Motivated by their desire to support Town’s exemplary teachers and to expand access to Town for more boys from varying economic means, the Larsen-Lam family makes this gift in support of two key initiatives: faculty sustainability and tuition assistance.
I am deeply grateful to the Larsen-Lam family for their transformational gift and the beneficial impact it will have on the Town School community today and into the future. Their gift enables us to embolden our aspirations for the Strategic Plan and accelerate its implementation. I look forward to sharing the Strategic Plan with you in more detail soon.
Please join me in celebrating this pinnacle moment for Town and thanking the Larsen-Lam family for their inspiring generosity.
Lorri Hamilton Durbin
