Please send checks to:
Town School for Boys
2750 Jackson Street
San Francisco, CA 94115 Corporate Matching Gifts
Many corporations have programs that match, or multiply, employees’ donations to non-profit organizations. Please check with your employer about the availability of a matching gift program. When making a matching gift, please notify the Development Office by contacting Edward Roberts, Director of Development and Alumni, 415-746-1123 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Securities or Property
Gifts of appreciated securities or property enable many donors to realize tax advantages, enabling the donor to deduct the full value of the donated stock or property without incurring capital gain tax liability on the appreciated value. Please see the Gifts of Stock
for instructions. Planned Giving
Many donors use planned giving as a method to make a more substantial gift to Town School, as well as to provide additional estate planning benefits or income tax benefits. Those who have included Town School in their estate plans or who have made a deferred gift become members of the Porta Aurea Society
(named for the Golden Gate, taken from the school's motto).
Planned gifts include:
- Making a bequest to Town School in your will
- Making Town School the beneficiary of a retirement account or life insurance policy
- Creating a charitable gift annuity
- Creating a charitable trust
- Making a gift of real estate or other tangible property
