Alexis has a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the University of San Francisco; she also has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis.

Which of the Town School values (respect, curiosity, belonging, integrity and joy) do you most identify with, and why?
As an educator, the Town School value I most identify with is joy. It is a priority for my students to see and feel the joy in school and learning. When you create an environment and a classroom that is filled with joy, I believe more authentic and rich learning can take place!

What are your hobbies outside of school?
Crosswords as well as going on walks and exploring the city with my dog!
