Finn C. Pillsbury is a Town School alumnus, Class of '94. He has a PhD in Wildlife Ecology from Iowa State University and a BA in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine.
Which of the Town School values (respect, curiosity, belonging, integrity and joy) do you most identify with, and why?
Curiosity and integrity are the values I most identify with. Curiosity, because continually asking questions is what helps us become more knowledgable, empathetic, engaged citizens of the world. Integrity, because holding ourselves to a high standard creates a world that is more just, kind, and humane.
What are your hobbies outside of school?
Reading, photography, hiking, backpacking, and working on house projects.
