Hee Youn has an MA in Teaching Arts from New York University, and a BA in English with a minor in Education from University of California, Berkeley. She also holds CA Single Subject credentials for English Language Arts and Social Sciences.

Which of the Town School values (respect, curiosity, belonging, integrity and joy) do you most identify with, and why?

I most identify with the value of belonging, as academic growth and social, emotional thriving happen based on the strong foundation of acceptance. Everybody should feel loved and supported as a whole person in order to really try, learn, and grow.

What are your hobbies outside of school?

I enjoy coloring and painting, watching movies and dramas, and drinking boba!
