Hilary McArthur has a BA from Colgate University. She also holds an MA in Education and a Teaching Credential in Mathematics, both from San Francisco State University.

Which of the Town School values (respect, curiosity, belonging, integrity and joy) do you most identify with, and why?

I identify most with respect and integrity. If we have integrity and treat all with with respect, we will trust each other and ensure that everyone feels safe, we will be willing to take risks and ask questions, we will all feel valued, and this will ensure we can work together towards our goals while experiencing joy along the way.

What are your hobbies outside of school?

Hiking, surfing, biking, skiing, running, reading, playing sports, backpacking, camping, traveling, spending quality time with friends, my family and my dog.
