Which of the Town School values (respect, curiosity, belonging, integrity and joy) do you most identify with, and why?

I am a big proponent of belonging as a fundamental precursor to learning. I have felt how warm and welcoming the Town community is and want to pay it forward to the greater Town community. I want to emphasize to the boys that no matter where they're coming from, their identities and ideas are accepted at Town, and that we will celebrate their unique voices.

What are your hobbies outside of school?

Before moving to San Francisco from New York, I was very involved in the swing dancing community as a teacher, performer, choreographer, and DJ. I'm excited to just get to know the SF swing dancing scene for fun with some greater involvement. I also love watching theater, cooking, trying new food, fitness, taking dance classes, and playing board games.
