Which of the Town School values (respect, curiosity, belonging, integrity and joy) do you most identify with, and why?

Joy is the value I identify with for a couple of reasons. One is I feel, as a teacher and especially a Kindergarten teacher, that I am responsible for creating a learning environment that promotes joy throughout the day. Second, if we embody the other Town values (respect, curiosity, belonging, and integrity) in our daily actions, we will not only spread joy but we will feel joy within ourselves.

What are your hobbies outside of school?

Cooking, entertaining, reading, running, long walks with my family, and spending time with friends.
