Clubs and Affinity Groups

Town School offers a wide variety of clubs and affinity spaces to students both during and outside of the school day. These gatherings promote our values - enhancing a sense of belonging, encouraging the cultivation of respect and personal integrity, building curiosity, and inevitably sparking joy.

Clubs include Math Olympiad and Mathletes, LEGO Robotics, Geography Club, and Debate. Town has both hosted and participated in official competitions including the Julia Robinson Math Festival, First Lego League, and debate tournaments.

Additionally, 7th and 8th grade students form and run, with faculty help, their own clubs that meet once weekly during school. Recent examples of student-led clubs have included the Baking Club, Lower School Support Club, Stocks Club, Magic: The Gathering Club, and more.

Optional student affinity groups include Students of Color (grades 5-8), Jewish Cultural Affinity (grades 5-8), Gender Sexuality Alliance (grades 6-8), and Neurodiversity Affinity (grades 7-8).
